This Privacy Policy describes how RestoDx ("we", "us" or "our") handles your information. It is specifically for our RestoDx ESC/POS Printer App which is designed with a Privacy-First approach.

Hardware Permissions & Use

To provide printing functionality, the app requires access to specific hardware interfaces. We use these strictly for communication with your printer:

  • Bluetooth: Used to discover and pair with Bluetooth-enabled ESC/POS thermal printers.
  • Local Network / IP: Used to discover and send print commands to Network (LAN/WLAN) or Wi-Fi printers via their IP address.
  • USB: Used to connect to printers via a physical USB OTG cable.
  • Location Services (Android only): On certain Android versions, Location Permission is required by the system to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. We do not track, collect or share your actual physical location.

Data Collection

  • Personal Data: We do not collect personal information such as names, phone numbers or addresses.
  • Financial Data: We do not have access to your sales data or the content of the receipts you print.
  • Technical Logs: We may collect anonymous, non-identifiable technical logs (e.g., crash reports) solely to improve app stability. These do not contain any business-sensitive information.

Third-Party Services

Because this app is an offline tool, we do not share your information with third-party marketers. If you choose to share a PDF via a third-party app (like WhatsApp or Email), that data is subject to that specific app’s privacy policy.
